Sara Cornthwaite is a mixed Anishinaabe and European media specialist from Nipissing First Nation, currently residing and working in Toronto, Canada, as well as Northern Ontario. She is a director, cinematographer, and photographer, accumulating 14 years of diversified expertise.

She frequents television and broadcast productions, managing camera crews, undertaking solo camera and documentary projects. Her work spans global landscapes, including Africa, Asia, and South America, with a particular focus on collaborations at home with her community and other Indigenous Nations.

She orchestrates camera crews for broadcast TV and web series, coordinating live streams, multi-camera music sessions, and overseeing vital project documents such as gear lists, rundowns, budgets, and call sheets. Her projects and clients range from single shoot days to series that require multiple film days throughout the year.

Sara's cinematography has aired across television networks, streaming services, radio platforms, digital billboards, and concert arenas. Her photography has been featured in branded packaging, books, magazines, newspapers, and digital articles across North America. She excels in leading her teams through production stages, contributing her skills to projects that align with her expertise and passion.
